I love teaching young children. There are many opportunities to nurture them and watch them grow over short periods of time. Since Kindergarten is their first "real" year of school, it opens door the way many of these children will view their school career for years to come. In addition, its just so stinkin much fun!

Few Facts about myself:
Fact 1: I live in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. Fact 2: I married my high school sweetheart, David. Fact 3: We have an 18 month old son, also named David.
Fact 4: I teach in my alma mater.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course:I'd like to learn how to relate to my students and peers who have been much more emersed in technology than I have. In learning how to better relate, I hope to come up with ways that I can use these methods to reach my students with up to date information. My favorite game(s): I'm assuming this is not limited to computer games. If so, I don't play them. Right now, my main games include "Heads Up, 7 Up" with my students or "Peek a Boo" with my son. Whichever I'm playing, its always a great time :) Ok, so I just read the instructions again. I do enjoy playing Mario Cart on Wii.
